y3+4 Football Tournament

Tuesday 23rd January:

KESSP Level 2 Football tournament for Year 3+4

On Tuesday 23rd January students from Chilwell Croft represented the school in a level 2 King Edwards Sport Partnership football tournament. Overall there were eleven different primary schools split into three groups, the winners of each group would then play each other for first, second and third place. The schools in Chilwell’s group were Brookfield, St Clements and Nechells, after winning all the games in our group we progressed into the semi-finals. The semi-final match was played against St Vincents, in which Chilwell narrowly won 1-0, and progressed into the final. The winner of the final between Chilwell Croft and Sacred Heart would move onto the level 3 Birmingham wide football tournament, however Chilwell lost 2-1 in the final meaning a second place finish.
